GAR Lepisosteus cf. oculatus (Winchell 1864)
DISTRIBUTION AND ABUNDANCE: Introduced - Non-reproducing. Repeated
observations between 1987 and 1994 of at least one individual in
the U. Mass. Campus pond at Amherst (D. G. Smith pers. com., 1994)
and additional observations of four to five individuals (400-520 mm
TL) at Stanley Park, Northampton (R. Hartley pers. com., 1992).
