The Marine Invertebrates Department is composed of the dry and spirit collections of phyla Echinodermata, Bryozoa, Brachiopoda, and associated protochordates. Historic and type rich, the collection holds approximately 3,025 type specimen lots. Current major projects include rehousing the entire ethanol collection, and databasing catalog data.
