Exhibition loans are coordinated and conducted through MCZ Collections Operations. The following are the requirements and standard procedure for consideration of an exhibit proposal.

- Overview of exhibition, goals and objectives
- Target audience, visitation estimate
- Specimens requested, general or specific
- Dates and exhibition timeline

- Cases (locks, alarms, mounting, construction materials, etc)
- Lighting capabilities
- Temperature and Humidity
- Security (gallery and museum)
- Facility Report (museum and gallery)
- Standard format
- Collaborative Planning

- Installation
