**Cassie Stoddard**, Junior Fellow in the [Edwards Lab](http://edwards.oeb.harvard.edu/), was named an International Rising Talent by the ["Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science Program"](http://www.lorealusa.com/press-releases/loreal-foundation-and-unesco-recognize-three-u-s-based-women-scientists-for-accomplishments-in-stem.aspx), which recognizes ongoing and exceptional contributions to the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by women. Stoddard is one of three women in the U.S. to receive the award and will be honored at a ceremony in Paris on March 18, 2015.
