The **MCZ**'s collections and research space in the Northwest Building received [LEED platinum certification](http://www.energyandfacilities.harvard.edu/green-building-resource/leed-case-studies/museum-comparative-zoology-fas) "the highest rating possible" from the U.S. Green Building Council.
