 MCZ Faculty-Curators [George Lauder](/people/george-v-lauder) (Ichthyology) and [Stephanie Pierce](/people/stephanie-e-pierce) (Vertebrate Paleontology) were part of a recent project to determine the aquatic functionality of a dinosaur tail recently discovered and believed to belong to a Spinosaurus.
