The [New York Times](https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/26/science/spider-web-evolution.html) featured research by MCZ Faculty-Curator [Gonzalo Giribet](https://giribetgroup.oeb.harvard.edu/), MCZ Associate Gustavo Hormiga and collaborators. *Phylogenomics, Diversification Dynamics and Comparative Transcriptomics across the Spider Tree of Life* was published in [Current Biology](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0960982218304226) and addresses the origins of the orb-web in spiders.
