 Congratulations to MCZ Faculty-Curator of Ornithology Dr. Scott Edwards and colleague Dr. Richard Kliman, the recipients of the first [ASN/SSE/SSB Inclusiveness, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Award](http://www.evolutionsociety.org/news/display/2020/3/9/2020-idea-award-winners-scott-edwards-and-richard-kliman/).

 This award recognizes individuals who have strengthened our community by promoting inclusiveness and diversity in our fields. Dr. Edwards and Dr. Kliman are recognized for their outstanding contributions and commitment through their Undergraduate Diversity and Evolution program, which has, since its founding in 2011, provided nearly 250 students with funding and mentorship for students to attend the annual Evolution meeting.
