Akosua is a PhD student with a focus on cephalopod venom systems and their microbial interactions. Her research interests include understanding the complex roles of venom-associated microbes and exploring innovative approaches to the recombinant production of bioactive peptides. She holds a BSc in Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology from the University of Ghana, where she gained a comprehensive background in molecular biology and biochemistry.
