Bohao is broadly interested in the process and drivers of biodiversity and particularly interested in understanding how quickly and the mechanisms by which natural populations respond to selection pressures induced by the environmental changes. As a postdoctoral fellow in the Edwards lab, he studies genomics, transcriptomics, and epigenomics of a pathogen-driven evolution in the House Finch through time and space.
