My interests are centered around the diversity of invertebrate sensory systems, including the evolutionary and ecological factors driving this diversity. I have previously worked with Dr. Lauren Sumner-Rooney at the Oxford Natural History Museum where I studied how ecological factors such as hunting mode influences arachnid visual systems.
I am also fascinated by the comparative methods and technology available to study museum specimens. Besides classical anatomical work, more recent technology such as 3D modeling and non-invasive scanning techniques interest me in their role in modern morphological research.
