I am a paleontologist specializing in the evolutionary processes of the early Paleozoic. Originally from the Chicagoland area, I studied Geology and Evolutionary Biology at Beloit College before earning my Master's in Paleontology at the University of California Riverside, where I focused on the White Sea Biota of the Ediacaran in the Mary Droser Paleoecology Lab. My career includes positions at the Field Museum and the Milwaukee Public Museum, and I enjoy volunteering for community outreach projects and creating scientific illustrations of the fossils I work on.
